Description
From the SHORE series. Cyanotype on 300 gr cotton paper The title of each piece corresponds to the geographical coordinates of the place where the pieces were made. The last number indicates the number of waves the paper received. The piece is protected in an acid-free PH neutral glassine paper envelope, archival quality. Shipped rolled in a stiff cardboard tube.
This artwork presents an evocative, abstract landscape, distinguished by its rich gradation of blues and blacks. The composition unfolds with a striking contrast, as the deep, inky black seamlessly transitions into vibrant, textured blues. The upper region, dominated by darkness, conveys a sense of mystery and depth, suggesting a night sky or shadowed terrain. Below, the blues create a dynamic interplay, with lighter shades that evoke the appearance of mist or distant waves. The piece's fluid movement and subtle gradations invite introspection, drawing the viewer into its enigmatic expanse. This unique juxtaposition of colors and textures captures an immersive atmosphere, compelling and contemplative. The artwork’s profound simplicity and abstract nature allow for individual interpretation, making it a distinctive and thought-provoking piece.
