Description
The limited edition photograph captures an inviting wine cellar setting, evoking a rustic Italian, yet refined, ambiance. A robust wooden table prominently displays an array of wine bottles, each distinct with colored labels, suggesting a diverse collection. Flanking the bottles are elegantly shaped wine glasses, poised for an imminent tasting experience. A charming ceramic jug, adorned with a pastoral scene, adds a touch of artisanal flair to the arrangement. Shelves in the background brim with more bottles, adding depth and conveying an abundance of choice. Soft lighting accentuates the warm tones of the wood and the rich hues of the wine, creating an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality. This composition uniquely bridges the gap between indulgence and artistry, inviting the viewer to immerse in the world of viticulture with an air of sophistication and discovery.
Presentation
Donna Carnahan, international photographer from Houston, Texas, specializes in Italian landscape photography. Since 2015, gaining inspiration from her love of Renaissance art in Florence, she has traveled extensively throughout 10+ regions of Italy. She has a passion for travel to remote and little known places where she photographically captures hidden gems of nature. Having studied the Italian language, culture, art and history, she is able to explore and record digitally, the majestic beauty found in landscapes, seascapes, vineyards, cliffs, caves, and architecture in a way that has been described as having a romantic vibe, beautifully composed with a three dimensional effect, and cleverly created to exhibit.
Her work was recently featured in Forbes magazine.
Ms. Carnahan was selected as one of nine artists for LandEscape Art Review, Special Edition and interviewed for her body of work entitled “Mediterranean Summer."
Collectors of La Donna Foto, include Mr. Giuseppe Risi, owner of Ferrari auto dealerships of Houston.
