Description
In 1967, the Austrian artist Günter Brus performed the series " Aktion mit Diana " (Action with Diana), using body language and incorporating his daughter to explore the theme of birth.
Original photograph - gelatin silver print on Baryt.
Hand-signed by Günter Brus on the reverse, with authentication statement: Damit bestätige ich die Authentizität dieses Fotos (visible through plexi reverse).
This bold work pushed the boundaries of body analysis and later revealed itself as a critique of the state, solidifying its place in Viennese Actionism

His works often combined elements of body art, performance, and photographic documentation, pushing the limits of artistic expression. His uncompromising vision led to both critical acclaim and legal prosecution, cementing his status as one of the most provocative artists of his generation.
He is a key figure in Viennese Actionism. Brus is widely known for his groundbreaking and provocative performance art, which delved into intense self-exploration and challenged societal conventions.
His work is included in major museum collections worldwide, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York, Museum Belvedere Vienna, the Centre Pompidou in Paris, and the Albertina Museum in Vienna.
