Modern Rome evokes the tension between the modernity of the setting—minimalist, almost architectural—and the classical sensuality of the body. Like a contemporary reinterpretation of ancient aesthetic canons, the work invites us to contemplate beauty in its duality: both present and elusive, tangible and dreamlike. In it, the body becomes architecture, the female figure converses with her double in a purified space.
