Couleur de fleurs, 2022

Eric Dujols

It's impossible to imagine flowers without color, these tiny living beings that delight our eyes. The language of flowers is universal, and it's expressed through color. White: Purity, virginity, consolation. Orange: Joy, cheerfulness, beauty. Pink: Youth, gentleness. Red: Passion, courage, ambition, ardent feelings. Purple: Peace, gentleness, generosity. Green: Hope, joy, and optimism. Yellow: Luxury, glory, success, prosperity, light, sunshine.
This abstract artwork immediately captivates with its dynamic fusion of vivid and contrasting colors. The bold mix of red, green, yellow, and pink creates a vibrant and energetic atmosphere, intensely drawing the eye. The intertwined shapes and fluid lines suggest continuous, almost hypnotic movement. Each hue seems to overlap harmoniously, forming a subtle interplay of light and shadow. The swirling curves and patterns evoke an effervescent dance, inviting the imagination to explore an abstract and colorful universe. The absence of recognizable figures intensifies the mystery, leaving room for a multitude of personal interpretations. This work is distinguished by its ability to capture the essence of organized chaos, while simultaneously exalting a rich and intriguing aesthetic.
