Tableau 45, 2018

Eric Dujols

Tableau45 is a free interpretation of our earthly time, there is a birth, a journey, and an end, inherent to all lives on our planet. The painting shows that there are irregularities, demonstrating that life reserves surprises for us, good or bad, but that it is not a continuous line without parallel paths. But it is difficult to predict what the future holds for us, near or far. In any case, it is worth living.

The image unfolds like an explosion of geometric shapes. The gaze follows dynamic curves that intertwine with precision. Shades of acid green and deep red confront each other on a dark background. The contrast accentuates the depth of the composition.
The technique relies on a fusion between photography and digital tools. The gradients are worked to create an effect of fluid movement. The artist condenses their observations of reality into rigorous abstraction. Each line seems to trace a path towards a futuristic dimension.
This creation from 2018 emphasizes a contemporary approach. The final rendering is optimized for printing on Alu Dibond. This innovative support highlights the sharpness of the lines and the brilliance of the colors. The composition plays on the repetition of organic and mechanical motifs. The whole forms a dense and rhythmic visual structure.
