Description
Alfie has beautifully captured the leopard's intense gaze which is fixed with unwavering focus, making the viewer feel a sense of raw, untamed power. The lighting artfully emphasizes the leopard's facial structure, casting a dramatic effect that enhances its regal presence. Through this evocative depiction, the artwork conveys a timeless representation of grace and strength in the animal kingdom.
This is one of the few works in my profile that I did not preconceive or plan in anyway. It was purely a quick reaction on my behalf to his postision and behaviour. He was posing as if he was looking into the mirror full of self-assurance and self-love, and I knew that capturing that in a photograph would tell an important story – we should all love ourselves. – Alfie Bowen.
Presentation
Alfie Bowen began photographing for the first time in 2014 due to his interest in life in our natural world.
He was tired of seeing little to do about the situation in front of many species around the world and so he decided to use his love of photography to educate the public. Alfie says, "People tend to worry more about the things they love, I hope people will fall in love with our natural world so we can save them before it's too late. We share planet Earth with many other species and it is our responsibility to care for them and ensure that they thrive for future generations.
the mundane. "The hours are invested in every room to ensure they are of the highest quality. Bowen's work has been shown by the BBC and hung in houses in Spain, America and France. The year 2017 saw his first personal exhibition hours Bowen's work is not only a beautiful representation of our natural world, but also a solid investment: the value of his work continues to grow.
