Description
Marick loves to capture reflections and fleeting images of our environment with his camera. Here, the work presents a blend of fluid movements and abstract patterns in various shades of blue. The swirling motions create an impression of dynamism and depth, evoking the waves of a constantly moving ocean. In the background, an urban silhouette appears, discreetly integrated, adding an architectural dimension and an atmosphere of fusion between nature and the built environment. The reflections of clouds in the sky provide a subtle contrast, reinforcing the delicate balance between celestial calm and marine vigor. The masterful use of light and shadow enriches this painting, highlighting its varied textures. This work invites the viewer to explore every detail, offering a visual experience that is both soothing and intriguing, emblematic of the transformative power of abstract art.
Presentation
Born in 1944 in Besançon (25), she entered at the age of 15 to work in her father Marcel Varret's professional photo laboratory and at the same time obtained a diploma from the Vaugirard School of Photography. She left Paris at the age of 34 to devote herself to the education of her four children while taking over a photo shop in Valence (Drôme); She will train many experienced amateurs there in studio shooting, color enlargement prints and their developments in tank on Cibachrome paper, she also created a photo gallery that she made available to photo clubs for them to use. they exhibit their best photos there every month. His meeting with Willy Ronys encourages him to persist in color without denying black and white. Now retired, she continues, during her walks, to stare at the images that challenge and touch her. His taste for light, color, material, clean lines and reflections make his images the witness that, from the ordinary, emotions can arise, leaving each person to their own imagination.
