This exquisite still life artwork is a masterful representation of culinary abundance and elegance. Central to the composition is a silver platter showcasing lush green artichokes, intricately detailed and stuffed with an enticing filling. Surrounding the artichokes, sliced yellow zucchini and ripe cherries add a burst of color and contrast. Flanking the scene are deep purple artichokes, adding depth with their rich hues, while a rustic silver teapot exudes timeless sophistication. A faint map background subtly anchors the composition, hinting at exploration and discovery. A spilled silver goblet and two garlic cloves add a touch of imperfection, injecting life and authenticity into the scene. This artwork captivates with its harmonious blend of textures, colors, and objects, inviting the viewer to appreciate the artistry in everyday bounty.

The bodegones are a pictorial interpretation based on a research project of the famous chef Juan Carlos Franco, on old food recipes of different periods in history. The photographer recreated the images inspired by paintings and images from these eras, also finding inspiration from artists such as Leonardo DA Vinci, Albrecht Dürer, and others.
