    Monoprint drypoint, carborundum on 30 g / m2 wenzhou paper. Black aluminum frame 80 × 60 cm. Single draw. This series of monoprints is the culmination of a two-week research and creation residency in Labastide-d'Armagnac (Landes department) in 2017. Time was a real challenge because it was about produce an exhibition in two weeks. The practice of engraving usually requires a longer creation time. This constraint allowed Blandine Galtier to find other production methods. The stake of this residence was to restore plastically three sites taking place in the village: the renovation of the church, a private site, as well as the extension of the Town hall. An architect by training, Blandine Galtier practices intaglio engraving alongside the profession of graphic designer. In the 1990s, she collaborated with Françoise Jourda, a woman architect and pioneer of ecological architecture. She works for the Jourda & Perraudin agency for which she creates the scenography for several exhibitions and the graphic design of exhibition catalogs.

In Rotterdam, where she lived from 1998 to 2004, she worked as a freelance graphic designer.
