Description
In this Color Aquatint Etching Remy Zaugg explores the fragility of perception and the instability of meaning.
The screenprint is signed and numbered on the reverse. From a highly limited edition. Both the signature and numbering are visible through a Plexiglas window on the back.
Worldwide shipping is available, with tax-friendly options for the USA and EU countries. Custom handmade framing can be arranged upon request. Each work is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
The Dutch words Grauw Beeld Blind (“Grey Image Blind”).—rendered in a pale, almost disappearing typographic presence—confront the viewer with the limits of vision, language, and interpretation. Zaugg’s work often questions how we perceive and process reality, situating language itself as a form of image.

Zaugg collaborated with renowned architects such as Herzog & de Meuron, reflecting his interest in spatial experience and context. Today, his works are held in major international collections, including Tate, Centre Pompidou, and Kunstmuseum Basel.
