Description
Color screenprint, depicting a lively rural procession moving along a winding road through rolling fields and patterned farmland, leading toward a distant village. Figures on foot and by horse-drawn cart are animated by rhythmic gestures and celebratory movement, while stylized trees, crops, and decorative motifs fill the landscape with vibrant color and repetition. The elevated viewpoint and simplified forms create a dynamic, tapestry-like composition.
Associated with the Central European Naïve Art tradition, Homonnai is known for his bold palette, playful narrative scenes, and highly decorative approach to rural life. This work exemplifies his distinctive visual language, combining folkloric storytelling with strong graphic clarity and ornamental rhythm.
Signed in pencil and numbered from a limited edition of 90.
An engaging and highly decorative Naïve Art print, appealing to collectors of modern folk-inspired works and Central European graphic art.
