The Lights Don't Move, 2023

BD White

B.D. White entered the art scene by painting hundreds of streetlight bases throughout New York City. Despite his spinal injury, he earned a reputation as a prolific street artist using spray paint and stencils as his main medium. B.D. has taken the stencil technique to unprecedented levels of complexity; utilizing over 200 stencil layers per painting. With a determination to create everything himself, he's now spent the last year learning and trying to master 3D modeling and animation to create his newest NFT collection. BD's work has been tapped by EA Games and can be found in their latest Need For Speed game. He's done work for Universal Pictures, the NBA, and has created a custom 7-foot tall aluminum spaceman statue adorning the offices of Gemini. To date, B.D. has shown in group exhibitions in New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Chicago, Miami, Paris, and Berlin. An installation at the World Trade Center, exposure at Scope Art Fair during Art Basel in Miami, two solo shows in Manhattan, and a window display at Saks Fifth Ave. of New York; have garnered him a strong and growing collector base.
