Description
The frog is emblematic of particular moments in his life: thus, his totem of the STAR frog reminds us of the ephemeral nature of life. Symbol of transition and transformation, belonging to the two elements, aquatic and terrestrial, this totem animal, a true nod to traditional rites, often comes to support us in times of change. Its aquatic origin allows the frog to master the world of emotions and feminine energies. PatMoli's creations, like his frogs, are also full of humor. They inspire serenity, zenitude, elevation, as well as sensuality, lightness and fantasy. They are both his fetish and his personal emblem and symbol of purification, transformation and rebirth! The light passes through it and changes according to the day in RECTO VERSO vision, it can be put outside (waterproof and anti UV) with a removable painted and resinated polyurethane base.
Presentation
PatMoli is an experienced painter & sculptor. She lives in the south of France and her works are or have been exhibited in France, the United States, Japan, Korea, Great Britain, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland ... in addition, her art has been featured in publications such as the Gazette des Arts. Through her works, PatMoli analyzes the world around her and revisits the complex relationship between humans and their ecosystem. She explores many themes: the condition of women and the window opening onto their freedom, the preservation of the environment through imaginary landscapes and coral reefs, totem animals - representations of our transformations and our fragilities through the exhibition of giant animals. She also plays with diversions of works by masters. Far from being static, her works are alive, some saying that they move, leaving everyone to forge their own interpretation and their own feelings. Everyone remembers her desire to create with her positive energy, which makes her works that make people happy! All materials interest her: she remains a researcher, curious, wanting to surprise herself before others.
Professional background: Boulle School Paris, freelance computer graphics/animation for TV and Cité des sciences de la Villette, documentary director for Editions Atlas, visual arts coach, art therapy, etc.
THEMES: women's freedom, environment, animals, sea.
