Cobalt Silence, 2026

Christophe Malsert

This captivating work presents architecture with bold geometric forms, dominated by vibrant shades of red and blue. The contrast between the colors creates a fascinating visual harmony. The curves of the white dome bring a softness that balances the sharp angles of the red and blue blocks. This interplay of shapes and colors evokes a sun-drenched Mediterranean scene, where each shadow emphasizes the purity of the azure sky. The arches and openings add depth to the whole, inviting the viewer to explore this imagined architectural landscape. The apparent simplicity masks a masterful command of composition, where each element is carefully positioned to create an impression of balance and serenity. The artist plays with perception and perspective, transforming the space into a timeless and contemporary work of art.
