Description
The monkey here is not a motif. It represents the reduction of humanity to its operational state: reflex, mimicry, adaptation without reflection. Anthropomorphism does not bring animals closer to humans. It reduces humans to mere mechanics.
The central face, covered in leopard-like fur, displays an empty hybrid: an appropriation of a symbol of power reduced to mere texture. The smile is a strain. The teeth show not joy, but a contained tension, a forced conformity to a social posture.
Red/blue glasses impose a split vision.
Reality is no longer perceived. It is filtered, simplified, opposed.
Behind them, two repeated archetypes:
the monkey frozen, compressed, reduced to inertia,
and the armed zombie, primitive violence, no direction.
Two functions of the same organism:
to suffer or to strike.
No third way.
The central character is not exempt from these states.
He brings them together. He carries them as a unique synthesis.
He doesn't think.
It selects signals and reacts.
The grid in the background is not decorative.
It's a behavioral matrix.
Each element is duplicable, interchangeable, without singularity.
The monkey then becomes the exact form of contemporary humans:
a body clothed in signs, traversed by impulses,
incapable of producing anything other than conditioned responses.
The work does not criticize.
She notes a stabilization:
The human being has ceased to be a subject.
It has become a pattern.
