This canvas-like fine art print of tizlu's iconic motif explores the fragile boundary between reality and imagination.

A boy stands on a grey, realistic stone surface reminiscent of an underground station, firmly rooted in the everyday world. In front of him, he paints a staircase onto a weathered wall, while another figure climbs the very steps that seem impossible to exist.

Behind him, fragments of are integrated into the wall like remnants of a fragmented reality. The choice of these fragments adds another layer of meaning: the idea of a world that feels constrained and bound by invisible forces, a reality full of contradictions and limitations from which the imagination seeks a way out.

The scene exists somewhere between two worlds: the cold, monochrome reality beneath our feet and a vibrant universe of colour, graffiti, and imagination that unfolds beyond it. Like stepping into the pages of a drawing, the painted world begins to cross its own boundaries. The grey stone, the newspaper fragments, and the traces of everyday life represent the world as it is — complex, imperfect, and sometimes overwhelming. Yet from within this reality emerges colour, movement, and possibility.

The artwork invites us to ask: Is the staircase becoming real? Is the climbing figure a dream, a memory, a hope, or a reflection of the painter's own imagination? Perhaps the true transformation happens not on the wall, but within the person who dares to believe.

The contrast between the realistic grey underground-like surface and the vibrant urban colours creates a dialogue between reality and fantasy, between social awareness and personal dreams. Every staircase begins as a drawing, every journey begins as an idea, and every new reality begins with the decision to take the first step.
