Fly Over Wide Fields, 2025

Printed on high-quality Hahnemühle paper with a finely textured surface reminiscent of canvas, this piece retains all the emotional depth and symbolic richness that have made it one of Tizlu's most iconic works. Executed in his unmistakable urban-inspired style, the piece continues to reflect his unique fusion of street art energy and deeply personal storytelling.

At its core is the image of a boy, arms outstretched like airplane wings, soaring over vast, open fields. This powerful visual captures the pure essence of childhood freedom, joy, and the longing to rise above the limits of everyday life. His flight becomes a symbol of fearless imagination, peace, and independence.

In the background, a faint outline of a fairground emerges—subtle yet deliberate—representing the noise, chaos, and overstimulation of daily existence. In contrast, the wide, tranquil fields offer a sense of calm and space, underscoring the central theme of escape and the search for inner stillness.

Surrounding the scene are fragments of 1980s print media: vintage magazines, newspapers, and iconic visual cues that create a nostalgic frame. Among these, one detail quietly demands attention—a blue ghost from the Pac-Man video game, crafted from Perler beads. Playful and poignant, this small Pop Art reference marks a specific cultural moment, while also serving as a symbol of innocence and analog creativity in the early digital age.

Whether viewed on its own or as part of a larger body of work, speaks to a timeless human desire: to break free, to dream, to explore, and to claim one's own space in the world. With its layered references and emotionally charged imagery, this piece invites us to see through the eyes of wonder, courage, and creative possibility.
