Description
"Fly Over Wide Fields"
This 2025 version of retains all the power and symbolism of the original, now presented in a smaller scale while maintaining its bold, dynamic presence. With its characteristic street art style and urban influence, this piece is designed for spaces that require a striking yet inspiring focal point—ideal for both residential settings and modern workspaces.
The central figure remains the same: a boy with arms outstretched, resembling an airplane as he flies freely over wide fields—a symbol of boundless freedom and joy. This imagery encapsulates the youthful desire for liberation, peace, and the courage to dream beyond the everyday. His flight represents the beauty of breaking free from the constraints of ordinary life, inviting viewers to reflect on their own desires for independence and growth.
The fields below represent openness, while the background subtly hints at the hustle and bustle of a fairground, a metaphor for the distractions of the world. The contrast between these two elements intensifies the idea of finding freedom and peace in the midst of chaos.
The composition is framed with fragments of 1980s-era images and text, infusing the work with a sense of nostalgia. The colors, though more restrained than in the larger version, still feature vibrant shades of yellow, blue, and orange, evoking feelings of warmth, optimism, and the spirit of adventure.
In this smaller interpretation, retains its sense of freedom and possibility, making it perfect for any space—whether it's a smaller room or an office. Its ability to inspire reflection, freedom, and the desire to break boundaries is timeless, no matter the size of the canvas. The essence of the original is beautifully preserved, while still offering a perfect fit for a variety of environments.
