Description
Donne Dannate is a beautiful original colored serigraph on paper, realized by the Italian artist and one of the pioneer of the Abstract art, Mario Radice (1898-1987) and published in 1964 by La Nuova Foglio.
This is an illustration of the homonymous Charles Baudelaire's poem, from the French masterpiece "Les Fleurs du Male".
Hand-signed and numbered in pencil and in Arabic numerals on lower margin. From a total edition of 100 prints, including seventeen artist's proofs, numbered in Roman numerals and out of the commerce.
This is the colorful abstract composition playing with the shape of the square and with the blue tones, an incredible result of the abstract search and of the full mastery of the serigraph technique. This contemporary artwork, is accompanied by the Baudelaire's poem, printed on Fabriano watermarked olive green paper.
