Description
Fish Seller is an original colored lithograph realized by the artist Ibrahim Kodra in 1975.
Edited by La Nuova Foglio, Macerata. Authenticity label on the back.
Hand-signed by the artist on lower right. Numbered on lower left. Edition of 100 prints.
This very nice contemporary artwork represents a mixed colored fish seller in the form of a robot, while he is cleaning the fishes. Also this composition, as typical of the artist artworks, is very colored.
Original print, including a white cardboard passepartout, 70 x 50 cm.

He is considered one of the few Albanian painters to have achieved success and international recognition. Formed initially in Albania, where he attended the American Vocational School and won the Tirana Award, he moved to Milan in 1938 thanks to a scholarship made available by the Queen of Albania Géraldine; he enrolled at the Brera Academy, where he had Carlo Carrà, Aldo Carpi and Achille Funi as masters and won the Hayez Prize. After a long career in Milan, he died in 2006 and was buried in his native country.
