    Media: Museum archival print on Hahnemühle paper 320gsm with hand-applied gold, unique emoticons and fringing.

    Markings: Signed and numbered by the artist. In each piece of this exclusive limited edition the halo and crown is embellished by hand in gold. Each artwork has a different emoticon, which, together with the Roman numerals made by hand, convert each of the editions of this series into a single piece.

ARTIST STATEMENT

“My work is born from a hypersensitivity to the beauty of the femme. It responds to a need to calm an obsession, like a civilized Jean-Baptiste Grenouille in the novel Perfume, where my ability to express emotions is directly proportional to my ability to translate them into the skin of the women I draw. Delicacy, strength, sensuality and fragility as values, a woman and a canvas, is my way of understanding the world both sensorially and intellectually. Inspiration along with my tools of work, have created a world of contemporary women, who dwell between roughness and purity, through the spaces within the lines of drawing."
