André Bricka was born in 1922 and passed away in 1999. Originally from Strasbourg, he studied Decorative Arts.

His figurative paintings draw inspiration from landscapes which made an effect on him. He paints Alsace but Provence too.

He was named "Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres", his work is part of several private and public collections.
