Picasso Print for Sale
Pablo Picasso is most famous for his paintings, however, the past decade has seen a clear growth in the market for his prints. In the early 20th century, artists began producing their art prints in limited editions, so that each individual work would retain its value over time. Picasso prints were made throughout his career with his first in 1899, when he was still a teenager and his last in 1972 at the age of 90. He produced some 2,400 prints in his lifetime, in a wide variety of techniques, most notably etching, lithography and linocut.
