Isabelle Healy

Isabelle Healy was born in 1967 in Paris.

From 1990, she took drawing and painting courses in Saint-Étienne in the studio of Madame Véran, a graduate of the Beaux-arts de Paris and major in anatomy. Then the desire to change teaching is essential, to discover a new approach, other perceptions, a new master ...

Serge Tziganov (EDAC St Étienne) will be this one for 7 years, study of perspectives, academic drawing, live models ...

Arriving in Lyon in 2005, she turned to clay modeling, then wax, the bronze technique, and sculpture.

Through art and her career, Isabelle empties her wallet of everything that makes her heart beat.

"The resilient person transforms the metal of suffering into the gold of sublimation and reflection" - Boris Cyrulnik

Universal links such as love, childhood, friendship, family, solidarity, nature and transmission are all themes that are dear to her, formidable sources of inspiration; the rooms thus become elegant, graceful, inhabited by emotions.

The contemporary style gives this necessary freedom.

His sculptures are both intimate and universal poems that represent the lightness of the moment with the desire to show a serene and luminous happiness that is often ephemeral.

She practices a representation of human feelings and shared moments over the course of time.

Coming from drawing, she goes towards a form of stylization, towards the virtues of stripping in order to keep the essential of a gesture, a movement, an attitude or an intention, she goes towards the absolute.
