Description
Clemens Hutter develops his own techniques when working with his preferred material, iron. He explores the artistic possibilities of freezing hollow bodies. Water is frozen in a sealed iron body, which bursts the body open and deforms it. This creates delicate, elegant curves and expressive bursts, which ultimately determine the form, as in the present sculpture. The rhythm and the open angles of the blocks welded on one side are determined by their curvature.
Clemens Hutter loves his material. He plays with the properties hidden in iron in an impressive way and transforms it into an aesthetic appearance.
