Bernard Froment

Established in the Drôme (26) Bernard Froment, glass-sculptor, assembler of words and materials, grafts wood, iron and always glass to create original works. They appear abstract or figurative according to the intimate meaning given by the meeting of materials.

Bernard Froment is an artist who has exhibited since the 90s. His artistic approach is very personal and atypical. It is loaded with meaning and deep symbols. It is both rooted and carried away in the current of great modernity.

Bernard Froment, November 2008:

Sculpture is, for me, the materialization of feelings. It is and goes to the point. She does not play, she does not cheat, she is the very consciousness of beauty.

For and with my profession as a farmer, in my opinion, it is the best way to express the painful recognition of the peasant world.

Humanity is nothing if it does not recognize its mother.

The one that gave birth to it and nourishes it: the Earth.

Man, this fragile and light seed is nothing without the food which keeps him alive.

Respect, recognition and transmission.

Furrow after furrow, let's unite to listen to the song of the third dimension.

Beyond sculpture, it's art that I want to talk about, the one that uplifts and not the one that brings in; the one that germinates, not the one that is harvested.

In the silence, in the transparency of the time which makes, of the time which is, to be always ready for the eternal moment of peace and to sow in full freedom to collect the tear of fraternity.
