Presentation
Thomar is a French artist born in 1973. His works are now on sale in the Parisian gallery Art Symbol Gallery located Place des Vosges.
“It is difficult to remain indifferent to the works of Thomar. These sculpture paintings highlight in an original and generous way his passion for caviar. The boxes, which he has collected over time, become the actors of gastronomic scenes around which he brings the grains of caviar to life with great realism. Ceaseless ballets, smooth drips, the metal boxes, alternately, unstructured or perfectly geometric, challenge or surprise you. Thomar's works are an ode to a forgotten refinement that he likes to share with us by combining the authenticity of the materials with resolutely modern graphics. It is an invitation to come and discover this mythical and mysterious dish in a different way, a jewel of a certain gastronomy whose history and actors have been able to cross ages and countries without losing its magic.
