Description
Work presented as part of the SOMEBODY exhibition in Paris in April 2024.
Presentation
For Celkha, sculpture has always been necessary, like an escape, punctuated by the vagaries of life... Each time she sculpts it is a new departure, she focuses on a new material. Initially with earth, then it was stone. With the learning of pruning, today it's time for Bronze! Self-taught and transported by the work of the material, Celkha lets it express itself with all its paradoxes mixing the enigmas of being.
Through psychoanalytic work, she expresses wounds dressed in beauty. Both touched and touching, strong and fragile, it is sensuality that takes precedence in its different evocations of the body and “ribbonesque" forms. » All these pieces are unique.
