Description
Forbidden fruit I is a sculpture by Czech artist Ondřej Oliva.
The sculptor works mainly with sustainable materials such as aluminum or bronze. With these mediums, he creates sculptures of natural form, especially trees that he appreciates very much. Nature is a great source of inspiration for him, as is the aesthetics of food. Therefore, he is used to including nuts, apples or mollusks in his creations. What is very interesting for Ondrej Oliva is therefore the contrast between these very organic forms and the symmetrical and industrial elements used in his production.
Presentation
Son of Czech sculptor Otmar Oliva, Ondrej Oliva has been immersed in art and sculpture all his life. Differentiating himself from his father, he turned to bronze and aluminum sculpture inspired by nature and natural elements.
