Description
15STRASH
"Movement" by Alexander Strashevich is a captivating abstract composition, defined by interlocking organic shapes that seem to flow and twist in space. The painting's soft golden hues enhance a sense of warmth and fluidity, while the presence of negative space within the form allows the viewer's eye to travel freely, reinforcing the theme of continuous motion. The sculptural quality of the piece evokes both stability and dynamism, as if capturing a moment in an ever-shifting process. Strashevich likely intended to convey the essence of motion, symbolizing life's transitions, energy, and the constant evolution of forms. This artwork invites contemplation of how movement, both visible and invisible, shapes our perception and experience of the world.

Born 1951 in Odessa, Ukraine 1970 – graduated from the Odessa Art College. Grekova. 1975-1990 – worked as a muralist. 1977 - member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Since 1970 – participant of city, all-Ukrainian and foreign exhibitions. The creative heritage of Alexander Strashevich includes not only works of monumental painting, but also paintings of building interiors, exterior mosaics, and sculptural works. In his work, Alexander prefers a modern plastic and color worldview, which allows him to harmoniously combine his works with modern interiors, including those in the high-tech style. His works show a plastic connection between sculpture and painting. He prefers abstract and postmodern styles, although he also writes realistic works.
