Description
This remarkable work of art consists of a captivating three-dimensional sculpture bearing the word "Love" in carved white letters, darting forward in an elegant, fluid motion.
Placed on a flat surface, this sculpture serves as a solid base for three red heart-shaped balloons, attached by thin, slightly arched black stems, adding an airy perspective to the composition. The metallic red balloons shine under the light, creating a striking contrast with the pure white of the sculpture below. The meticulousness of the work is evident in the perfect balance between the solidity of the base and the lightness of the balloons. Each letter is finely cut, with an impeccable finish, emphasizing the visual harmony and just proportion.
The combination of the shiny material of the balloons and the matte surface of the letters creates an aesthetic duality, capturing both the eye and the imagination. This juxtaposition between tangible and intangible elements evokes pure emotion, symbolizing the soaring of the concept of love beyond mere words. The work embodies a modern and dynamic expression of love, managing to marry contemporary design and timeless sentiment in a bold and innovative way.
Presentation
In each sculpture, Sagrasse places a fragment of humanity, an emotion kneaded into the material, like a breath that crosses time.
Born in 1966 in Macerata, in the Marche region of Italy, Sagrasse has dedicated his life to sculpture for over thirty years. Driven by a constant passion for material and form, he has developed an artistic language that is both contemporary and profoundly human.
His works are exhibited throughout the world, in galleries, private exhibitions, and spaces dedicated to art. This international career reflects a recognition acquired over time, driven by the sincerity and strength of his work.
Sagrasse's creations address contemporary and universal themes : ecology, social ideologies, and the relationship between man and his environment. His sculpture thus becomes a space for reflection, where consciousness and aesthetics, questioning and emotion intertwine.
