Description
This bronze sculpture exudes timeless elegance in its slender, abstract form. Rising gracefully from a sturdy base, the work reveals two intertwined figures, evoking harmony and unity. The fluid, sensual curves accentuate a sense of movement and connection, while maintaining a mysterious simplicity. The bronze's polished finish catches the light, creating shifting reflections that animate the meticulously crafted surface. The skillful fusion of abstraction and figurative suggestion invites personal interpretation, while at the same time demonstrating the artist's technical mastery. This work transcends mere representation, transforming the surrounding space into a place of poetic contemplation. A shining example of modern art, this sculpture embodies the sophistication and power of abstract art to articulate the essence of human relationships.
Presentation
Stéphane Szendy, the art of sublimated matter.
Contemporary sculptor, Stéphane Szendy shapes wood, bronze, resin, glass and enamel with a mastery worthy of a jeweler. Drawing his inspiration from nature and the history of art, he creates stylized works with clean lines, evoking totems or timeless trophies. Each sculpture is distinguished by a subtle play of textures and patinas, giving a unique depth to his creations.
Trained in Fine Arts and heir to family know-how, Szendy Stéphane cultivates an extreme attention to detail, even to the bases of his works. His work, marked by a rigor and a rare artistic sensitivity, transcends the material to arouse emotion and contemplation. Since 2000, he has exhibited in numerous fairs and participates each year in Maison & Objet. Distinguished by the Arts-Sciences-Lettres medal in 2011, he has been a member of the Ateliers d'Art de France since 2006.
