Description
This captivating work of art, a bold blend of contemporary sculpture and urban graffiti, takes the form of a stylized bear.
Covered in a vibrant patchwork of bright colors—yellow, blue, and black—each surface is adorned with freehand-drawn patterns. “RICARD," inscribed in capital letters on the head, evokes a strong cultural connection to Marseille.
The smiley face adds a playful touch, while graphic symbols, including circles and geometric patterns, capture an energetic pop spirit.
The fluid lines and careful details show a mastery of graphic arts, making the work both iconic and memorable. The whole exudes a joyful atmosphere, capturing the dynamic essence of urban modernity.
Presentation
Born in Marseille, Frany became passionate about Playmobils at an early age. She started to stage them in frames and under a bell, telling slices of life.
Pushing her creative limits even further, Frany, with her jovial and playful character, wanted to express herself on larger supports such as the XXL Playmobil. She creates real characters according to her ideas. Characters that are dressed with drawings, graffiti, lettering and that tell their own story.
Each sculpture is unique.
Then Frany discovered epoxy resin which allows her to give free rein to her wildest ideas, freezing the objects in time and space.
Frany's works are thoughtful, fine and colorful, they are the reflection of her enthusiasm and her joy of living.
