Description
This striking work of art features a bold sculpture, inspired by the iconic Mickey Mouse character.
The character is covered in intricate and colorful patterns, mixing urban art and pop culture references. The body is divided into distinct sections: the head sports black and white patterns reminiscent of tattoos, while the arms and legs are bursting with bright colors and recognizable elements.
The designs include iconic logos such as Chanel, merging the world of luxury with that of cartoons.
This striking contrast between vibrant colors and monochrome lines creates a captivating visual dynamic.
The work manages to capture nostalgia while innovating, paying homage to both modern art and classic cartoon. A remarkable fusion of styles that challenges and fascinates.
Presentation
Born in Marseille, Frany became passionate about Playmobils at an early age. She started to stage them in frames and under a bell, telling slices of life.
Pushing her creative limits even further, Frany, with her jovial and playful character, wanted to express herself on larger supports such as the XXL Playmobil. She creates real characters according to her ideas. Characters that are dressed with drawings, graffiti, lettering and that tell their own story.
Each sculpture is unique.
Then Frany discovered epoxy resin which allows her to give free rein to her wildest ideas, freezing the objects in time and space.
Frany's works are thoughtful, fine and colorful, they are the reflection of her enthusiasm and her joy of living.
