Description
Unique sculpture made from a salvaged mannequin, embodying the liberated inner child. This piece is part of the "Queens of Nature" series, where each sculpture, adorned with fish, birds and crowns, celebrates the beauty and strength of nature.
The bust of this child, is enriched with gilding and patinated textures, it evokes human majesty and fragility. It invites us to an introspective journey, to an exploration of our deep being and to reconnect with our inner child.
Through this work, we celebrate the defense of the earth and animals while carrying dreams. This sculpture reminds us of the importance of believing in ourselves, listening to our inner voice and nourishing our spiritual light. Give your interior a mystical aura, a symbol of strength and serenity, and let yourself be inspired by the wonder of our true childlike nature. All you have to do is believe.
Presentation
An emerging visual artist, recognized for her creativity and her works rich in emotion, Brigitte Dravet stands out for her use of gold leaf on raw textures and her commitment to upcycling art.
Her artistic approach is a dialogue between light and matter, between textures and reflections, her paintings inspired by the sea and the sky, invite us to explore minimalist and poetic landscapes, her palette evokes her inner life, the great masters of Asian arts from whom she draws inspiration call this momentum "the breath" the one that animates nature in its truth. The gold of the spirit emerging from the glow of the depths reminds us that there is always a light deep within us and all around us, even in the dark. Engaged in upcycling-art, she gives a second life to mannequins that she transforms into luminous works. Her innovative and environmentally friendly approach makes her a contemporary and visionary artist.
Portfolio reviewed by Anastasia Mitrogogou (Podgorny Robinson Gallery and Perrotin Gallery)
Brigitte is strong in representing the sensations of a landscape, the earth and the sea which form an extraordinary duality within her paintings. I will not fail to say that her paintings are new, original and whole experiences. We are immersed, integrated and plunged inside the liquid element, water or its evaporation which is air.
The artist's technique in terms of colors, shapes, texture and size is splendid. The materials she uses, the gold leaves on canvas and her artistic procedure are evocative of her style. The artist uses her artistic expression in an efficient and precise way. We have the impression of clearly seeing the landscape she represents in her paintings as if we were in front of the sea, near the sky, etc. Even if some of her paintings are very abstract and fragmented and we do not clearly discern the subject represented, we have suspicions of themes by the materials used and the movement created on the surface of the canvas.
The artist has a lot of potential in the art market. His reach in the art market is beyond his native France.
