Pearl wave, 2025

THE PEARL WAVE – A poetic homage to the sea.

This work of art is more than just a visual experience – it is a sensual journey into the depths of our natural world and our own emotional world.

The fabric texture—in shimmering mother-of-pearl tones interspersed with delicate golden reflections—evokes the eternal play of light and water on the ocean's surface. The wave seems frozen in motion, captured in a moment of perfect harmony, like a breath of nature. The sunbeam that strikes the work brings it to life: millions of golden reflections dance across the surface, as if the sea itself had cast a mysterious smile.

The contrast between the cool, tranquil blue of the background and the warm, metallic fabric creates a deep emotional tension—a balance between stillness and movement, between longing and fulfillment. The wave appears alive, almost translucent, like a veil of water through which one can glimpse the soul of the ocean.

This work is a declaration of love to the sea, which soothes, inspires, and admonishes us. The transparency and dynamism of the pearly wave speaks of the fragility of our environment, its beauty worthy of protection. Yet it also recalls the romance that the sea has always radiated: of lovers on the beach, of quiet moments in the breeze, of the infinite blue that embodies hope and freedom.

In this abstract representation, art and nature, matter and emotion merge. THE PEARL WAVE is a work of dreaming, a silent call to mindfulness, and an ode to life that begins in the sea and continues within us.
