Valla urbana, 2025

Fabio Santori

This artwork is a striking assemblage composed of reclaimed wooden pieces meticulously arranged to create a textured, mosaic-like effect. The artist brilliantly combines various shades and grains of wood, crafting an intricate tapestry that evokes a sense of urban skyline or dense forest. The diversity in wood tones—from soft, pale hues to rich, dark browns—adds depth and contrast, capturing the viewer's attention with its organic complexity. The horizontal layering, paired with vertical elements, provides a dynamic rhythm, making the piece not only visually stimulating but also embodying a tactile quality. This work exemplifies sustainable art by using recycled materials, transforming discarded wood into a captivating visual narrative that speaks to themes of renewal and harmony between natural elements and human creativity. Its unique composition and environmentally conscious message make this a compelling piece in contemporary art.
