Description
This sculpture depicts a hybrid and enigmatic figure, part rabbit, part urban character, frozen in an almost dancing motion. Its entirely white body, with soft and minimalist lines, contrasts intensely with the metallic red heart it delicately holds in its hand.
The face hidden behind a bandana lends a mysterious and contemporary dimension, evoking both street art culture and a certain idea of silent rebellion. The long ears accentuate the playful nature of the work, while the character's open posture gives it a light, almost joyful energy.
The vibrant red of the heart acts as a focal point of emotional tension: a symbol of love, vulnerability, or passion, it becomes the central element of the composition. The sculpture's smooth, monochrome finish enhances its volumes and reinforces its pop and design aesthetic.
Both tender and audacious, this work plays on the contrast between innocence and anonymity, gentleness and urban attitude, transforming a simple character into a true contemporary icon.
Presentation
In each sculpture, Sagrasse places a fragment of humanity, an emotion kneaded into the material, like a breath that crosses time.
Born in 1966 in Macerata, in the Marche region of Italy, Sagrasse has dedicated his life to sculpture for over thirty years. Driven by a constant passion for material and form, he has developed an artistic language that is both contemporary and profoundly human.
His works are exhibited throughout the world, in galleries, private exhibitions, and spaces dedicated to art. This international career reflects a recognition acquired over time, driven by the sincerity and strength of his work.
Sagrasse's creations address contemporary and universal themes : ecology, social ideologies, and the relationship between man and his environment. His sculpture thus becomes a space for reflection, where consciousness and aesthetics, questioning and emotion intertwine.
