Description
This captivating artwork features a rabbit-shaped figure, richly decorated with dynamic graffiti. Every inch of its surface is covered in vibrant motifs: stars, hearts, lightning bolts, and various symbols, creating a bold and colorful visual explosion. The inscriptions display a variety of typographic styles, blending elements of pop culture with urban messages. The figure, standing on a white circular base, is a perfect symbiosis of contemporary art and street art. The contrasts of vivid colors immediately draw the eye, while the diversity of patterns encourages a close exploration of the details. This object embodies a modern and rebellious energy, emblematic of street art, transforming a familiar form into a captivating three-dimensional canvas. It is situated in an exhibition space, adding to the dialogue between the artwork and its urban environment.
Presentation
French painter from the southwest of France, Flu in his youth is passionate about comics that he creates and develops fantasy characters. His notebooks are filled with pages of custom books. He finds his freedom in drawing.
In his adolescence, he discovers the art of graffiti, spray paint, markers, acrylic paint, drip stick, graffiti techniques, stencils. Influenced by the hip-hop vein landed from the United States, the first painted walls were not so far, an abandoned building, a bench, a train...
Flu then pursued his studies towards car painting where he obtained his diploma. Pushed by his family to create new things, he then devoted himself to painting and worked first on supports such as pallet wood, oil barrels...
Art becomes for Flu the perfect vector to satisfy his creative impulses and starts to paint on canvas and other supports. Flu draws his inspiration from pop art classics such as Warhol, R. Lichtenstein, Banksy, Romero Britto... as well as from his daily life and the street art scene. The paintings follow one another in universes always new and surprising. Never ceasing to evolve and reinvent himself, his trademark is that of a deep art, sometimes joyful, often brightly colored.
