Royal Bronze Candy, Circa 2025

Taly Eichenwald-Dvir

This artwork will show in our next exhibition so will be available after the exhibition

This sculpture blends the playful spirit of Pop Art with a refined sense of materiality. The Israeli artist reimagines a familiar symbol of sweetness as a sophisticated decorative object. A twisted candy wrapper becomes a study in form and texture. The rich bronze glaze mimics the sheen of polished metal while remaining rooted in ceramic tradition. It is a tactile exploration of nostalgia and joy.
The piece captures a fleeting moment of childhood delight. Every fold and crease feels deliberate and organic. The artist uses these curves to evoke memory and resilience. The smooth surface reflects light with a metallic intensity. This artwork transforms a simple confection into a timeless sculptural statement. Its elongated shape and glossy finish create a bridge between the mundane and the monumental. The narrative centers on the human search for optimism through beauty. This piece belongs to a broader collection where sweets serve as metaphors for hope. The result is a seamless fusion of contemporary language and meticulous craftsmanship. The composition is anchored by a deep, earthy tone that emphasizes the fluidity of the ceramic medium.
