Description
This resin sculpture revisits an iconic figure from our childhood, that of the iconic Babar.
He wears a sparkling green sequined tuxedo, a black vest with glass rhinestones and a red bow tie also in glass rhinestones. His crown completes this royal look with multicolored glass rhinestones and the edge of his ears is covered with delicate gold leaves.
The artist uses rich textures to transform the object into a precious decorative piece.
This creation rests on a transparent plexiglass base for optimal visual lightness.
Presentation
Self-taught plastic artist and art enameller, I was, from a very young age, initiated by my grandfather, a carpenter-joiner, into manual trades, drawing and DIY. I claim the freedom of creation in all my works, which want to be colorful, contemporary and ... glitter! "A personal touch" which brings a delicate femininity. My sculptures are rooted in Pop art, a style that I particularly like. They represent the characters who rocked my childhood, from pop culture, the world of Disney or popular comics.
