Description
The gaze stops on three elongated silhouettes. These figures settle calmly on rough stones. The self-taught sculptor plays with proportions here. The limbs stretch. The bodies become slender. A voluntary simplicity guides every curve.
The work of the materials brings a striking contrast. Terracotta meets textile. Woven fabrics, red and yellow, dress the bodies with sobriety. These colored touches animate the composition. They suggest an identity, a rite or a journey.
The whole rests on a dark rectangular base. This base stabilizes the scene. It emphasizes the lightness of the figures. The arrangement creates an ascending visual rhythm. One perceives a form of silent communion between the three entities. The precarious balance of the stones adds a subtle tension. The whole exudes a contemplative serenity. The artist's signature appears discreetly on the wooden support.
