Description
This sculptural egg by Claire Fanjul stands out for its striking black-and-white pattern, made up of fine, interwoven lines that delicately cover its surface. Blending abstract shapes with geometric details, the design reveals a wealth of intricate details.
The simplicity of the egg's shape contrasts with the complexity of the pattern, creating a harmonious and visually engaging piece. Displayed on an elegant metal stand, the egg appears to float effortlessly, while its monochrome aesthetic gives it a distinctly contemporary feel.
An original decorative object that combines intricate drawing with a unique design, bringing an artistic touch to any interior.
Presentation
Claire Fanjul is a French artist exhibiting regularly in Paris, Brussels, Miami and New York.
The Métropolis d'Arte TV show devoted a report to her in May 2019. Very attached to paper, the artist also works on three-dimensional supports such as ostrich eggs and ceramic skulls. In October 2018, his first illustrated musical tale on the theme of the Boots of Seven Leagues, was published by Harmonia Mundi / Little Village.
Since 2018, she has been developing the Utopia series by drawing with Posca on wooden spheres. These imaginary cartographies are presented at Art22 Gallery in Brussels and at Azart Gallery in New York, San Francisco or Miami and in Paris at Galerie Artima.
In 2019, Claire's works are exhibited at the outsider art museum La Halle Saint Pierre as part of the Hey! Act 4 which brings together 35 international artists.
In 2020 his first drawing for Carré de Soie entitled La Folle Parade, published by Hermès Paris, is released.
