Description
An exploration of visual perception. This wall sculpture challenges the boundary between physical matter and optical illusion. The artist draws from the rich legacy of Venezuelan Op art. He translates movement into a tangible form.
The hexagonal frame contains a precise arrangement of wire and plexiglass. Vibrant gradients of red, orange, and yellow merge seamlessly. The structural layers create a sense of depth and rhythmic vibration. The viewer experiences a shifting perspective as they move around the piece.
This artwork is a study in geometric precision. It utilizes industrial materials like aluminium to achieve a refined, ethereal effect. A complex web of lines generates an undulating surface. The result is a sensory experience that feels both stable and fluid.
The composition radiates from the center. Light interacts with the colorful surfaces to produce a shimmering, mirage-like quality. This interaction emphasizes the three-dimensional nature of the assemblage. Every angle reveals a new intersection of color and line.
