Tricky Town. A city with neighborhoods symbolized by wood briquettes, soaked in bright paints that drizzle and mix. They are in unstable balance and decked out with an evocative visual: the spider, the scorpion, the snake, the rat, the vanity or the hangman's rope. Handwritten briquettes are next to these obvious symbols: "tomorrow", "violence", "coronatruc" or "sanicrisis". The whole sums up the paradoxical atmosphere in which the city evolves. Tricky Town is also the metaphor for ourselves, our tumultuous interior, our weakened self, its random and wobbly construction, our cunning mind that lies to us to justify our every action. Tricky Town, the collapsed city is the re-creation, in volume, of our internal and external daily life.

No one expresses the philosophy of Oneartist better than the artist himself:

"I am not a street artist because I do not create on walls, trains or sidewalks. I am nevertheless an urban artist because I express the city, but a city collapsed on itself. A city killed by her fears, undermined by her anxieties and her escapes in the hope of a better tomorrow.

A city lost in the superficiality of its neon lights, its windows and its games, colored with its illusions. Each of my works highlights this predictable collapse of our society through a witness town: Tricky Town. Its neighborhoods are symbolized by wooden briquettes, soaked in bright paints that drizzle and mix. They are in unstable equilibrium, held only by the paint, and decked out with an evocative visual: the spider, the scorpion, the snake, the rat, the vanity (disguised as Santa Claus!) Or the hangman's rope.

Handwritten briquettes are next to these obvious symbols: "tomorrow", "violence", "coronatruc" or "sanicrisis". Despite the meaning they convey, they display their luminous inclination, oozing flamboyant acrylic. The whole sums up the paradoxical atmosphere in which the city evolves. An angel is a figure of hope, he is the counterpart of "tomorrow", the proof of a belief in a future that no present tries to set up. But Tricky Town is also the metaphor of ourselves, of our tumultuous interior, of our weakened self, of its random and wobbly construction, of our cunning mind that lies to us to justify each of our actions.

We collapse in the pursuit of pleasure that always comes with the fear of losing it. We are collapsologists without our knowing it so much we study with method all the possible solutions to tend towards the collapse. Tricky Town, the collapsed city is the re-creation, in volume, of our internal and external daily life. "
