From The Dibujar el Tiempo Series. Indian ink on 350g Strathmore Bristol paper. Tinted Popped wood Frame. Unique piece

The project is a series of ink drawings on different surfaces, depicting the solstices and equinoxes of the year through the overlapping of shadows at various times of the day. These shadows suggest the outline of invisible structures, similar to frameworks of beams and columns, which appear static but are actually in motion in relation to the sun.

The technique used is based on the repetition of parallel lines at different angles and colors, a meticulous and meditative process that records the passage of time, stroke by stroke. Although the images are static, the work highlights the difficulty of perceiving movement and the passage of time without a fixed reference, inviting reflection on how the sun and its shadows reveal that everything is in constant transformation.

This artwork presents a striking interplay of geometry and color, centered around a rectangular grid. The composition features vibrant shades of mint green and soft yellow, creating an ethereal aura. The main focus is a meticulously rendered grid in white, providing a sense of depth and structure. The composition is framed by a bold, angular border in a pastel turquoise, enhancing the illusion of a three-dimensional space. The delicate gradients suggest light play, offering an engaging visual experience. The careful alignment and symmetry demonstrate the artist's mastery of precision and form. This piece transcends mere abstraction, inviting viewers to explore spatial boundaries and the relationship between form and color.
