Biography
Pauline Guerrier, 27 years old, spend her life between few different workshops in Itlay, Maghreb, Portugal, Chili and more.
Textile workers, glass blower, engravers, glaziers, mosaic artists are her daily, where she observes, analyzes and learn. In a perpetual search of ancestral technics knowledge, Pauline Guerrier compares yesterday skills about the actual world and the one of tomorrow.
She is always interested and influenced by themes as ecology, science and faith. Her work doesn't have technical or spatial limits. It is revealed through drawing and sculpture, installations, performance and video in order to use the medium the more adapted to the subject.
Graduated since 2014 from Beaux-Art (Paris), we can currently see her work during Art Paris Art Fair, Art Geneva, PAD, but also during Parcours Saint-Germain-des-prés, Villa Datris and Domaine des Etangs.
She develops a work dedicated to spiritual, human and natural values search. She obtains her inspiration through travels, meetings, worldwide artisans, men and women testimonies about different cultures, between myth and historical facts.
