Welcome to a surreal world where images are given a surprising, amusing or quirky second life. I've always had a great imagination. After 4 years of training in watercolour and acrylic painting, it was obvious to me that collage was what I wanted to do. Collage frees you from academic constraints. It overturns all reference points and transcends all existing codes. The freedom is total. The only limit is the scope of your imagination. I paste visuals cut out from magazines, journals, etc. I have no preconceived ideas; it's chance that determines the final picture. And the unusual becomes poetic... It's also a way of making art out of rubbish, because these magazines are destined for the bin. It's also proof that art is everywhere and in everything.
