Biography
Marc Lagrange is a Belgian photographer known for his nude portraits of female bodies. Getting his start in fashion photography, Lagrange creates dreamlike and fantastical narratives through black and white images influenced by Helmut Newton and Peter Lindbergh .
His photo book Diamonds and Pearls (2013) earned him international recognition. Born in 1957 in Kinshasa in Congo, Lagrange lived and worked in Antwerp in Belgium until his death in a car accident in Tenerife on December 25, 2015 at the age of 57.
